Commerical furniture delivery – How do you send coffee tables by freight?

I am in the process of setting up a small furniture making business and I need to know how do you go about sending coffee tables etc that are not flat- packed. I would imagine that you would bubble-wrap the items and then get a freight company like Fedex to pick them up. Is it that easy? Should I consider putting these type of items in crates. The coffee tables I have made would be sent out lndividually to customers. They are not overly expensive and really not that large. But would Fedex etc accept this type of furniture without being crated.

If it is OK to send just by bubble-wrapping, what is the best way to do this to ensure the items does not get damaged?
I would also be sending out the coffee tables etc to international customers.

What is the best education model for a child today and where can I find it in the world?

There are several options for a child’s education in today’s world. There are variations in curriculum, teaching methodologies, cultural values, goals of education. There are novel options available today such as unschooling and home schooling that were not as common earlier. What then is an ideal educational system for a child from school through undergraduate and graduation? Where is the best education system available in the world for each of these levels?

What can 2 end tables turn into in a bedroom?

So I just moved into an apartment, and I acquired 2 end tables of different heights in the process. The only place they’ll fit is in my room, in the corner. I already have a desk and a bookshelf, so I’m not sure what to make those into. Any ideas?

Question for socialists only: How much education should citizens get for free?

Question for socialists only: How much education should citizens get for free? I can’t find the data, but I know I saw a chart showing how countries with low education are very poor and countries with lots of education are much better off financially. So it stands to logic if a country were to give every citizen a free PhD quality education it’s per capita income would be highest in the world. Would you support this? Why or why not?

Is it possible to grow grass over a concrete slab?

Stupid question maybe, but I would like to know if it is possible to grow grass over a concrete slab? Details: I live in Baltimore City and have a very tiny and uninspiring concrete slab patio (enclosed by a fence) behind my rowhome. The concrete slab has a concrete border approximately 7 inches higher than the slab itself. Note: It’s not feasible/affordable to break up the concrete and start anew. Just wondering if there is a way to put down a shallow amount of soil and roll sod grass over it? Is artificial grass my only option?
